Its that time of the year........I am looking forward to picking our apples and we want to bless her around Christmas time, Wassailing is what its called and you are suppossed to pour cider onto her roots but an even older tradition is for the head of the house to wee on the roots.
Also dried apple wood placed into the fire is said to smell wonderful and a disk (like Anasasias ) is said to bring beauty.
And above all else remember and apple a day keeps the doc away .
