Not sure what it is but there seems to be a lot of abused children in the news lately, its really upsetting and I don't read the papers but they put it every where, as you open your yahoo account, on the news paper stands, big headlines and even in the shop windows, graphic upsetting photos. A couple kissing is considered taboo and below the belt to show to children and put into a window or a naked women/well normally very young girl but pictures of a child beaten to a pulp is fine, because its a doll made to look like a real baby, OH silly me and that makes if all fine to show to the masses of kids that walk past every morning on their way to school.

and now news about an hour ago, 21 year old mother stabs 3 month old and 3 year old to death.

My thoughts stubble around, why is there a media hype on this topic ? What is actually going on ? And the protection of self in taking on the sadness around these cases and the smell of evil but it seems I have failed as it has effected me even though I tried to look the other way.
