I am up at 2.30 am because I succumbed to two handfuls of popcorn and am now paying the price as my tongue is swollen and I am so thirsty. That's what happens when you are allured to childhood comforts and my face is all puffy too.
Rowan is upstairs barking at Willow , its dark except for two candles and the computer screen, which both dogs don't like, they will go out and luckily it is warm enough for me to take Rowan onto the grass and stand there with her. Its reminds me of those old slave/voodoo movies as I walk around the garden in my nightie.
If I just stick my hand into her bed and she is sleepin and its dark, she growls at me.
When she is at the top of the stairs and wants to come down she barks, and as you near the top she stamps her two feet in excitement.
If left alone, when you come back she moans at you
she copies everything Willow does.
she eats apple, red peppers, cherry tomato and banana as well as her puppy food and Willows food.
she is very clever and seems to remember things really well.
she loves hubby and already comes to his whistle
she plays fetch with a pine cone
she loves willow and like a real madame she will let him smell her if she presents herself but if she is busy he gets a scolding.
and Willow
has turned out to be a big softy, he shares his food and toys, lets her bite him and climb all over him, loves it when she chases him and when she is tired , he cleans her ears.
They both go to bed at 9 no matter what their humans are up to.
They both eat grass everyday
they both make nests as only Jack Russell's can
they both spin in a circle before having a poo
and tonight as we walked in the field, with all the different shades of green, no wind not even a breeze and the most glorious sunshine aluminating the tops of the grass and the wheat , its still green but those hairs on the top light up, it was all sublime, even though our conversation was rather serious.
I love my Jack Russell's.......who have both gone back to bed and i am up for no reason ...........back to my nest.
