What do you get a friend who is turning 74 and has everything she wants ?

You be sneaky and read between the lines, she mentioned to me that last year, she worked for a week ahead of her birthday cooking and baking and when everyone left there was a mountain of food ! So this year ( 31 may) she is only making sandwiches and so when i saw this picture i though AH Ha.She does not have to bake them ( which you should not have to do anyway on your own birthday ) and I am sure there won't be any left ! No matter what your age I have never seen someone say no to a cupcake.

I know they are very pink and frilly and not really something I would want but this is just the kind of thing she would love. She is the kind of 74 year old who has loved Audrey Hepburn all her life and still wears lipstick and stockings and can't quite understand why my husband trims my hair and that I'v never worn stockings in my adult life, just the thought makes me itchy.

But I love giving people surprices and I love hearing the magic words " thats just what I wanted, how did you know !)
