I have some more information and I will be trying very hard in the next two months to listen to my own advise so I will let you know how its going and hope you will take the advice too.
Grains such as rice and quinoa are superb at soaking up toxins and helping to remove it from the body. They are also excellent at supporting the blood sugar in order that the body has sufficient energy to remove the toxicity.
You need to imagine a sliding scale no. one food that adds toxins is meat. fish, eggs, dairy products, then tea, coffee and alcohol then wheat being the foods which add toxicity to the body and rice and quinoa being your balancing middle of the grid then fruits and fruit juices being the most detoxing then raw vegetables and salads then cooked vegetables then beans and pulses. So in the middle of the sliding scale are the grains and it is here that we find a balance between the amount of toxicity pulled out of the cells and eliminated to the outside, grains are superb at soaking up toxicity and helping to remove it from the body. they are also excellent at supporting blood sugar levels. Too little of the right food and you stay where you are entrenched in illness and emotional pain: too much detoxification and we eliminate toxicity too quickly causing us more illness and emotional pain. Pulling too much toxicity out of the cells but not out of the body is one reason people feel ill when starting a healthier lifestyle.
I feel that blood sugar disturbances have a bigger effect on us that we realise effecting weight gain , pmt, emotions , our reactions to people and events and menopause, why else are the hot flushes more at night around the time your sugar levels start dropping, wonder if sugar levels also effect hormone levels as I know they effect the adrenals and liver.
Go and eat a high complex carbohydrate meal now and lots of cooked veggies and legumes and water, just like God told Daniel too and Samson in the biblical story and start eating 6 meals a day of the rights stuff and in 3 weeks there has to be a big change in all areas . I am going to be doing this and I have some more info but will write a little more each day.
the weekend was great there is something so cosy about all sitting in a tent together talking with a drizzle outside, i felt very connected to the earth and the sea. I was menstruating and found slipping out into the night into the bush to change padding, slip spoiled one into a doggy poo bag and bin it so natural, I had none of the hang ups and worries that I would have had when I was younger, it was very relaxing and the ting of the ropes on the masts of the boats in the harbour was like falling asleep to a favorite ticking clock, it was home and comfortable and soo relaxing, we walked on the beach at night watching the ducks and in the day we explored Arlington court. Wonderful !
