This weekend we went to pick up a glass greenhouse which hubby saw on freecycle and phoned and organised blah blah blah...... so we get it home and realise with no instruction manuel and all the glasspanes filthy we had our work cut out for us but it was really lovely to be out in the garden working on something as a family.
The funny thing was the birds where sooooo nosey as to what we where doing at on time we had four robins and two rock pigions watching us all lines up on the fense, like we had an audiance ! When i went in to make tea and kids where inside i heard Hubby say to them " we are make a glass nest" he he it was really strange and it kept on drizziling on and off and we just worked in the rain, so when we felt it was time to call it a night it was 8pm and gtting rather chilly, muddy and wet, we stopped and took stock and realised we had made a huge mistake....ahhhh so tonight the glass has to come out and we have to put it all up again, the glass is really dangerous.
Then this morning I got up and walked over to look at ot through the back door and there was a mallard duck with her 4 ducklings inside !
Why do birds like greenhouses ?
