Funny how sunday night came again and David temp. went up and he said he had a really bad headache i thought after playing outside all day in the changes of spring energy it was maybe all a bit much, still feel like I need to sit down and write up a strategy for getting through sunday nights.
He had a bad night coughing and nose and head ect but as soon as i had made the call to school to say he would not be coming in, temp, red glossy cheeks dissappered and headache vanished and he was all excited about a day at home to do all the things he wants to do.
Is this caused from wrapping him in cottonwool from homeschoolin as everyone says or is it that school is not that great and there's a problem I need to address, they both feel that they are not getting enough of my time and home time in a weekend.and they enjoy being in a group but spiritually there seems to be so much resistance .
David said to me just now that , kids at schools fav. meal is fish and chips from the chippy and that they watch, coronation street and eastenders and then all talk about it at school...THESE ARE 10 YEAR OLDS.I would never degrate myself so as to sit and watch a soap opera.
David and his friends are wild little boys, full of mud. They have sticks for weapons and strategy plans to cope with foxes and teenagers. Foxes i understand (it's funny but understandable, mine was a lion but each to there own he he) but teenagers ? Yip they jump on the kids and take their things away and are filled with huge amounts of pent up rage, and so rightly so the kids are on the look out for teenagers, espically girls ? How strange.Diane Cooper says in her book Atlantis that it was normal to spend most days outside in large groups of people, just playing, eating and enjoying each others company.
I will take some photos this week of his base camps in the bushes/fields ect they have three and are very proud of all the work they have put into them, i actually had a man tell me yesterday that i should not let them play outside in the fields as its too dangerous, this from a man whos son just threw himself in front of a train because of depression.
God please help us all. Bless the children and keep them safe from harm, emotional and physical, keep them all warm and feed. Help me to make whole warriors out of mine.
